Guest guest
dear shri vasudevan, did Sri Rama at all walk, after His encounter with Sri Hanuman at the Risyamookha parvatam, is the question posed by you. Sri Valmiki says He did. in fact, immediately after leaving the Risyamooka parvatam, on the way to Kishkindha for Valivadham, Sri Rama does walk, preceded by Sugriva and followed by Sri Hanuman, Nala, Neela et al. this is evident from the following Kishkindha kanda sloka-- "RisyamookAt sa dharmAtmA KishkindhAm LakshmaNAgraja: jagAma saha SugreevO VAli vikrama pAlitAm agratastu yayou tasya Raghavasya mahAtmana: Sugreeva: samhata greevO Lakshmanascha mahAbala: prishttatO Hanuman veerO nalO neelascha vAnara:". Hence Sri Rama did walk and was not all the time ensconced on Sri Maruti's shoulders. It is however true that Sri Hanuman carried Sri Rama across the Sethu--here is Sugreeva telling Rama to ride on the shoulders of Sri Hanuman and Lakshmana, on those of Angada- "Hanumantam tvam ArOha angadam chApi Lakshmana: vaihAyasou yuvAm Etou vAnarou tArayishyata:" regards, dasan, sadagopan
