SrImathE Gopaladesika mahadesikaya namah:

Dearest Srivaishnavas,

 

Not only He helps few and blesses them; He considers

as His duty to protect and save all seven worlds; -

wonders AzhwAr with awe.

 

paNdum inRum mElumaay or baalan aaki NYaalamEzh,

uNdumaNdi aalilaith thuyinRa aadhi dhEvanE,

vaNdukiNdu thaNthuzhaayalankalaay! kalandhaseerp,

puNdareeka paavaisEru maarbha! bhUmi naathanE! (22)

 

Oh BhUmi nAthA! Master of BhUmi PiraaTTi! The One who

has most wonderful divine Chest- where Padma vaasini

PiraaTTi Mahalakshmi who has got equal most auspicious

attributes like You- seated on lotus flower lovingly

resides eternally! The One who wears cool ThuLasi

garland where bees hum and drink honey! The One who

swallows all seven worlds; all beings and retain them

in His small stomach and has His Yoga nithrA pn little

Banyan leaf that floats! The One who is eternally

present in all three time- past- present, future!

 

paNdum inRum -at the end of Chathurmukha BrahmA¡¦s

lfie there is Cosmic dissolution and the Lord takes in

all beings and worlds to retain them; protect them in

His Body; and He reclines a Kutti KaNNan on a little

Banyan leaf floating on waters. What a wonder! You

eternally are Present at all times. However during

that time, You take the form of little baby. You prove

to all that You are Jagath rakshakan. Sarva rakshakan.

 

The big form transforming into infant form; in that

little space retaining all seven worlds joyously

willingly (maNdi) without any mix up; inspite of

holding all seven worlds- the weight- He still floats

on Banyan leaf; and You fearlessly recline on the

little leaf. Devaadhi Devaa! You are wonder of

wonders. You leelA is amazing. You enjoy wearing

thuLasi garnald and with great vaathsalyam let the

bees hum and drink the honey from fresh thuLasi

leaves! (what a fotune for those bees)!

 

Kalandha seer- all auspicious attributes, PiraaTTi has

equal quantum of guNas; - in all respects

PiraaTTi is equal to Him; Purushaakaarathva attributed

to Mahalakshmi should not rule out other most

important functions such as Rakshakathvam,

Upaayathvam, Mokshapradathvam, being performed by Her

as well in as much as the Lord Sriman Narayanan. She

can play both roles as a mediator, and also serve as

upAyam for mOksha. Thus Sri along with Sriman

Narayanan is both upAyam and upeyam (the way and the

Goal)

 

Thus AzhwAr enjoys and immerses himself in EmperumAn's

parama vaathsalya guNA.
