I am raising my innocence of reciting SandhyAa vandhanam without knowing the meaning of it. My father who staunchly did santhi until his last day of breath did not teach me the meaning of this verses. Evening sandhyA comes like "imam mey varuna ithyaathi manthraanaam Devaraatha rishi: Gayathri Jagath ...... " " imam may varuna srithi hava mathyasa mru daya thwa mawas urachakay.... " Can you please shed some light on this. I wanted to know what i am chanting everyday although some verses are clearly understandable. such as "Sanghu chakra gathaa paaney dwaaraka nila achyuta ...."
