Guest guest
Dear SrI Ramachandran : Thank you for asking about the power behind Sanjaya's divine vision to see and narrate the great War between PaaNDavAs and KouravAs and especailly GeethOpadEsam of the Lord . It is not Lord KrishNa , who blessed Sanjaya with the divine vision. .. Sanjaya got his divine vision ( dhivya Chakshus/ Jn~Ana KaNN ) through the grace of VyAsa (VyAsa PrasAdhAth) to see , hear the happenings at the battle field of KuruskshEhtra and described them to the blind King , DhrutharAshtra . The reference is in GeethA slOkam 18.75 : vyAsa-prasAdhAth sruthavAn yEthadh guhyamaham param yOgam yOgEswarAth KrishNAth sAkshAth kaTayatha: Svayam Sanjaya says: By the grace of Sage VyAsa ( the composer of MahA BhAratham) , I have heard this supreme secrets of YogA revealed by Lord KrishNA , the Lord of yOgA , in person to His disciple ArjunA . Best wishes , V.Sadagopan - <s.ramachandran "Sadagopan" <sgopan Tuesday, June 01, 2004 3:31 AM Divya Dhrishti to Sanjay > Sir, > > In Mahabharat, Sanjaya relates the entire drama to the Blind king > Dhiradhristra because he is empowered with divine inner vision to replay > the whole episode. > > Who gave this divya dhristhi to Sanjaya?
