Guest guest
Dear SrI Ramarajan: There are hundreds of passages from VedAs that are inspirational .I do not understand the context of usage of the need for Vedic passages for those , who may not have faith in the VedAs . You may wish to use just the translation . However our dharmam is SanAtana dharmam and is valid for all humanity. Here is a sample passage from the ancient Rg Vedam: didrikshENya: pari kAshtAsu jEnya eeLEnyO mahO arbhAya jeevasE puruthrA yad abhavat sUr ahaibhyO magavA visvadarsata: --Rg Vedam: I.146.5 (Meaning): In all corners of the Universe , He is the One that is fit to be sought after. He is the glorious and victorious One , who qualifies for our adoration . He is the one and only source of life for the great as well as the small ones among His creation. His wealth is matchless and His fame as the Lord of the Universe is manifest to one and all . He is the creator of every sentient and insentient beings and He is the divine and illustrious source for all of His multifarious creations . If you need some Upanishadic passage , which is more like an inspirational prayer , you can use the Saanthi manthrams like " Bhadram KarNEbhi:SruNAyaama: " Another one is from Rg Vedam X.37.2 : Saa maa sathyOkthi: pari paathu visvathO dhyAvA cha yathra tatanannahAni cha visvam anyan ni visatE yadhEjathi visvAhApO visvahOdhEthi Soorya: (Meaning): " May these ever- true words guide me (and protect me) on every side , wherever heaven and earth and the days are spread , in whom rests the entire dynamic creation in motion , in whom the waters daily flow and the Sun raises every day ".
