Guest guest
Dear List Members : I empathize with the statement of SrIman Sudarshan on Junk mail and viruses , which ruin many lists thru their unwelcome and aggressive intrusions . The attachments get cut off by Internet Service providers for these reasons. As a moderator , I have put all kinds of filters. Inspite of it , the clever perpetrators sneak in . Please take precautions at your end as well as suggested by SrIman Sudarshan. As they say in USA , " We shall overcome some day ". Guest guest
Dear Bhagavatas: Srimam Sudarshan is not alone. In fact numerous such mails are received by me also. This is aggravated by copycat mails posted by some who are members of very many groups. This is really annoying. All that we can do is just to delete them. Sometimes I receive mails purporting to emanate from my personal id requesting admission to Srirangasri of whic I am the Owner/ Modeartor. Why would I ask for admission in my own group? I have also brought this to the notice of Administration. Plaeae ensure that your Antivirus software is not only installed but also periodically updated. neither we nor you have any control over this spam. I understand that Service providers are grappling with it and hope to find solutions for the same. All the best, folks.
