Guest guest
SrI: SrImathE Gopaladesika mahadesikaya namah: Dearest Srivaishnavas, Those demi gods pray to You not for show off or for pretending. It is their sincere prayer and devotion at Your feet for getting what they are seeking from You; They pray and beg You their needs and wants to get their worries and sorrows removed. How can I go and beg them and why should a beggar go to other beggar? na hi bikshukO bikshukAntharam yaChathE AzhwAr describes here: veLLaivElai veRpun^aatti veLLeyiRRa raavaLaay, aLLalaakka dainthavanRa ruvaraikko raamaiyaay, uLLan^OykaL theermarunthu vaanavarkka Liththa,em vaLLalaarai yanRimaRRor, theyvamn^aanma thippanE? (88) The One-who, when churning the huge manthara mountain with [whitish toothed] Vaasuki snake as the rope for churning the white milky ocean stirring the same upside down, took huge unparalleled Tortoise [Koorma] avathAram to hold the tumbling manthara mountain and to stay course; and to grant Devas the nectar - amudham to cleanse the sin of Sage Durvaasa and to remove the troubles of asurAs and stribute to them the entire amirdham; Such most merciful, most compassionate - taking such troubles holding the moutain, letting His own milky ocean being churned and in all granting what came out to Devas, distributing them without actually giving the same to asurAs. ParamOdhAran; - My swami- My Master; - But for Such Greatest You- whill I ever bow down to others? [Never]. Keeping the moutain itself is task. He did it; Holding it with His Hands- He did it; It started tilting and tumbling; It is He again who took Tortoise form and held the mountain on His Top taking all weight on His back [what a dayA! What a sowlabhyam! ] and churning- It is he who helped with His black tresses moving here and there falling on His Forehead so gracefully; And granted the fruits that came out- i.e. Amirdham to devas by distributing (cheating asuRAs by taking mOhini avathAram) it is He who did that too. Everything he had to do and so called other "gods" - what were they doing? They were standing powerless- weak and did not even wish to share what they had with others [asurAs]. Such greatest vaathsalya swraUpi - [personifcation of vaathsalyam] is You! Knowing fully well that they can get anything from You including the medicine to get rid of the cruel disease of further births, did they become desirers [mukukshus] of mOksham? Not yet. We - who are ParamaikAnthins- those who are devoted to the Lord Sriman Narayanan alone and none else- and only with the desire to get mOksham [eternal service at Your feet at Paramapadham]- when seeing materliastic desirers [kaamis] we need to stay away and not associate ourselves with them "yooyam yooyam vayam vayam" . That is acceptable to Saasthram and to our Sampradayam. You are vaLLal. em vaLLal- Benefactor- ParamOdhAran; mOksha pradhan; muktha prApyan- Sriya: Pathi Sriman Narayanan. You are such a udhAran that You cxall Your ardent devotees as udhAran (vaLLal- benefactor) and consider those devotees as Your indweller (in Your heart). udhArassarva yEvaithE. As if They have granted You something you praise them. When someone takes some wealth from us and them multiply that and they gift to others, we can also call them as vaLLal. But doe He get something from them? He calls them as udhArars. He is such Greatest vaLLal. His kalyANa guNa is that. Sarvaphala pradhan is He. They actually receive Your blessings and You consider them as if They grant You [Yes, They Grant You the names- mOksha pradhan; ParamOdhAran; Sarva sEshI- Master of all].
