Guest guest
Dear sadagopan Iyengar swAmi, "Oh! what shall I do to forget?" Can you believe that thirumangai AzhwAr seeks a way to acquire forgetfulness? What does he want to forget? He wants to forget the Lord ! Why? The Lord's unfulfilled promises and taunts, torments him. What a pity? We are trying to remember the Lord and AzhwAr seeks a way to forget Him. This is aptly brought about in periya thirumozhi pAsuram 'yEAdhu seidhAl maRakkEan? manamEa thozhudhum ezhu..." PERIYA THIRU MOZHI 9-3-3; What should I do to forget Him? Here AzhwAr seeks forgetfulness as he feels that at that juncture it is a virtue. regards, dhAsan vAna mAmalai padmanabhan
