The omnipotence leading to permanent possession of things which yield everlasting happiness, the implements which yiled these, the place where this is made possible i.e parama-padham. The Lord is the Lord of these and hence, sathya kAman. AzhwAr wanted to experience the presence of the Lord but in the absence of which AzhwAr grieved. Hence, AzhwAr had doubts regarding the real nature of the Lord. He feared the nature of the materialistic and kArmic world. The Lord reminded AzhwAr that he had graced and blessed earlier and the doubts should not persist. Having realised this AzhwAr understood the greatness of the Lord but also the smallness of the soul. Hence, AzhwAr realising this wanted to move away. The Lord hastened to highlight the nature of the soul. Thus, AzhwAr having reaped the great Grace and blessing of the Lord Almighty, wanted this to pervade to fellow souls, also. Generally, the goal and the way to attain the goal are different. However, in this respect the goal and the means are one and the same- The Lord is both is the underlying message in this eighth ten. vanamamalai padmanabhan
