Sri PBA Swami's Sarartha Deepikai: If bhakti and prapatti are both removed as paths, then what gets the chetana the goal? It is the Lord's grace, which is the only means. For the same goal that is reaching Him, both bhakti which is difficult and prapatti, which includes all that is to be done and all that is to be given up, which is to be done only once and therefore easy, are advised. Because of the fact that, without differentiation, instruments that are difficult as well as easy are advised, it is understood that it is only His grace, which uses these instruments as a reason to give the goal, is the true means.
