AZHWAR'S COUNSEL TO FELLOW DEVOTEES

 

 

After having first prescribed the do-s and dont-s to his mind, AzhwAr invites fellow devotees.

 

"nenju pOlvAraith thoNdEr enRu azhaithu, 'valam seidhu, eNNumin ,

pEasumin, kEANmin, kANmin, nadamin, pugudhu' enRu karthvayam,

smarthavyam, vakthavayam, srOthavyam, dhrashtavyam,gandhavyam,

vasthavyam ellAm veLIyittu.."

 

Action - karthavyam-"koNda kOyilai valam seidhu ingAdudhum kUthEA"

10-1-5- Come around this divine place and jump in joy.

 

Thoughts- smarthavyam-"eNNumin endhai nAmam"-10-2-5- Think of the divine name of my Lord.

 

Words- vakthavyam- "pEasumin kUsaminRi" -10-2-4-Dont worry about your

lowness. Talk abuut Him without any inhibition.

 

Listening- srOthavyam-"namargaLO sollak kEANmin" -10-2-8-Please listen to my words;

 

vision- dhrashtavyam-"padamudai aravil payinRavan pAdham kANa" 10-2-1-

Come on devoetees prepare yourself for the divine vision of sri

thiruvananthapuram Lord who is in a reclining posture on the

thiru-andhAzhwAn.

 

residable- vasthavyam- " anantha pura nagar pugudhum inREA" 10-2-5-

Enter this divine dhivya dhEsam and make it your place of residence.

 

Thus AzhwAr explained all words, thoughts, deed, actions to the fellow devotees.
