Bhattar explained the meanings of the second part

of the Dvaya mantra to Nanjeeyar and told him the

following:

 

"The complete understanding of the second part of

the Dvayam happens only at His divine feet in

paramapadam. However, great souls such as Azhvars

and Acharyas understand that in this world itself

due to His causeless grace. Therefore, they are

called jIvanmuktAs".
