Continuation of Grounds of Appeal by AzhwAr

 

Continuing on the Grounds of Appeal for the Lord Not To Leave Him:

 

...... anbu vaLarndha adi vuram: What is the base of growth of love and

affection between us? It is none other than periya-pirAttiyAr. The

logical nexus follows that You have immense affection towards Her and

the affection percolates on me automatically as I am a part of her

andhap-puram's group. Therefore, the affection which has the

benefit of Her Grace = Will it not carry weight?

 

"kOla malar pAvaikku anbAgiya, en anbEayOA!" 10-10-7;

 

 

...... vuir vuRavu: What is my soul to You? sarEra-sarEri. The soul's

life is the Lord. Hence, can the soul sustain without Him, is the

plea here.

 

" peRRinip pOkkuvanO! vunnai en thanip pEAR vuyirai" 10-10-8;

 

 

Sum-up of the Arguments:

---The Lord is the support system akin to a creeper looking for a support-third pAsuram.

-- The Lord took upon the act of rescuing AzhwAr should leave the mission incomplete-Fourth pAsuram.

-- Having taken upon the task of rescuing AzhwAr, now suddenly

expecting the soul to do the task is not fair fifth pAsuram

--In spite of distancing away, the Lord swooped down on AzhwAr and

mixed with Him freely. Whose mistake is this? Sixth pAsuram.

--AzhwAr being one of the clan of periya-pirAttiyAr's office -

andhappura-parivAram- the nexus of immense affection towards

periya-pirAttiyAr should follow logically on AzhwAr. Seventh

pAsuram.

--The soul is to Lord sarEra-sarEri bhAvam. The Lord is the life

supporting for the soul. Hence,how can AzhwAr survive without

Almighty.-Eighth pAsuram.
