Guest guest
nambi none other than thiruvallikkEANi em-perumAn-s. It is true that some people have dear to their hearts -thiruvallkkEANi. I have seen people who are dear to parthasarathy not so attached to sri azhasingar. On the contrary there are some devotees who donate to azhasingar certain items, to be used exclusively for azhasingar. Such is their unflinching devotion. sri vadivazhagia nambi-sundara paripUrNan is none other than thiruvallikkEANi em-perumAn-s. Here are the facts in a nutshell. nambi is parthasarathy: "kavvaik kaLiRru mannar mALa kalimAn thEAr aivarkkAi, anRu amril vuithAn" thiru mozhi 9-5-5; The Lord of thirukkuRungudi rescued the pANdAvAs by charioteering for them. is then nambi nor parthasarathy? nambi is azhasingar: "karaNdam Adu poigaiyuL, karumbaNai perum-pazham,,,kuRungudi nedum thgAi.. ...iraNiyan sinam koL Agam onRaiyum, iraNdu kURu seidhugandha singam enbadhu vunnaiyEA!" thiruchandha virutham 62; The Lord who vanquished iraNiyan is none other than thirukkuRungudi Lord. nambi is rangA: "muLaikkadhirai kuRungudiyuL mugalai mUvulagum kadandhu appAl mudhalAi ninRa ..arangamEya andhananai" thiru nedunthAndagam 14; The Lord came down from parama-padham and settled in thirukkuRungudi. The cloud which sprung up from thirukkuRungudi went far off and settled down in thiruvarangam. nambi is chakravarthith thirumagan: 'seRRavan then ilangai malanga' thiru mozhi 9-5-10; 'silayail ilangaich seRRAn" thiru mozhi. 9.6.10 nambi is vardhan: "pEAr aruLALan " permai pEasak kaRRavan --9.5.10 The Lord who is the granter of Grace and boon - varadhan. Does it not then make that thruvallikkEANi is an integral part of thirukkuRungudi? (to be continued) vanamamalai padmanabhan
