When Veera Sundara Brahmarayan caused great disturbance

to Bhattar, Bhattar left Srirangam and moved to

Thirukkoottiyur. On the way, he became very tired due

to hunger and thirst and thought of Nanjeeyar and

called out for him.

 

Nanjeeyar, who had heard of Bhattar's departure had

packed water and food and was quickly following him.

 

Just as Bhattar called out for him, Nanjeeyar arrived

at that place and immediately gave him the water and

the food.

 

Seeing that, Bhattar was greatly pleased with his

acharya bhakti and blessed him.
