[rangapriya] re Saligrama

Yesterday Swamiji in answer to a question gave the

following information:

In the case Aradhana Murtis, the major parts like hand feet

are called Angas and finger, nail etc are called UpAngas.

If the anga of a murti is damaged or broken that murti

should not be worshipped. If an upAnga is broken it should

be repaired and worshipped.

In the case of Saligramas, even if it is broken into two it can

be worshipped- provided the Chakra is intact. If the Chakra

is damaged it should not be worshipped.the procedure is to

let it into a Mahanadi like Kaveri etc

supreme dharma: to perceive the Self through yoga." -- Yoga
