Guest guest
Sri: Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama: Appillaippillai asked Bhattar "What is the meaning of the posture of Periya Perumal in Srirangam?" Bhattar replied "The two divine hands of Lord Ranganatha as He lies in Srirangam provide refuge to the chetanas. One of his hands points to His crown and states that 'Am I not wearing this for your protection?' - thereby removing the Vaishnava's fear of the weight of the ageless karmas. The other hand points to His divine feet and shows them where to take refuge - similar to a mother feeding her breast into the mouth of her child".
