Dear AasthikAs :

 

Two years ago , when adiyEn was visiting SrImath PoundarIkapuram

Andavan , adiyEn was moved by the instructions onn the walls about

performing SandhyA Vandhanam and maintaining AchAram . When adiyEn

returned to the States , adiyEn requested Srimath Andavan to help with

the creation of DVDs for Yajur and Saama sandhyA Vandhanams . Srimath

Andavan graciously acceded to the vijn~Apanam and selected te proper sishyAs

to perform the two sandhyA vandhanams under His adhyaksham ( supervision).

It came out well and they were made available at the Poundarikapuram Andavan

Aasramam for the AastikAs . There are 2 DVDs for Yajur and Saama SandhyAs .

They are priced at 300Rs.each . You can purchase it at the Aasramam .

 

The Yajur Veda SandhyA Vandhanam has been digitized and stored at

http://www.ibiblio.org/sripedia/oppiliappan web pages.By copy of this note ,

adiyEn request Sri Sriram to give the exact URL for these digital content

on Yajur Veda SandhyA Vandhanam .

 

Few days later , adiyEn compelted the recording of Rg Veda SandhyAvandhanam with

the help of Rg Veda GhanapADi , Sri RangarAjan Swamy at KumbakONam , which is

available with me .

 

Please perform SandhyA Vandhanam as a nithya Karmaa that can not be abandoned .

Please remember that AchArya RaamAnuja performed Daily sandhyA Vandhanam even

at the age of 120 .

Simadh Pundarikapuram Andavan ashramam has released a VCD on Sandhya Vandanam. One o fthe ashrama kainkaryaparar has shown illustrations of the same. Please contact Sriman Muraidhar Ranagswamy swamin if you are interested to get a copy of the same. If you just need the book for sandhayavandanam, you may visit the Ahobila Matam website for a copy of book.
