In some web sites, the order of performing Sama upakarma procedure is

given incorrectly. The correct procedure is that after deva rshi

(pitru) tarpaNam, snAnam, the yajnopavIta dhAraNam should be done.

This is the tradition followed in Srirangam, Tiruvanandapuram (kerala)

and other places.
