Guest guest
anka-N-AyakaRku, aRava-n-AyakaRku, mEmisai aNdam-ANdiruppARku-arukkan meAvi niRpARku-vEankadathu Adu kUthanukku inRu adimaith thozhil pUNdAyEA Before the advent of nam-AzhwAr saints use to be awed by the auspicious qualities of the Lord, as nobody-including the vEdhAs - were able to narrate them. After swAmi nam-AzhwAr, they used to think that it would be good if more auspicious qualities emerge as swAmi nam-AzhwAr can describe more and more. Adjectives and adverbs on the Lord and His actions, make AzhwAr-s relish, cherish and thrive. Continuing from the previous posting, where it was seen that thirumangai mannan rejoices for serving the Lord, it is seen that kaliyan adds wonderful adjectives at the end of each pAsuram as a prefix to the term 'adimaith thozhil pUNdAyEa" in the first thirumozhi of the second ten of periya thirumozhi.. A few samples. ankaNAyakaRku - The Lord with the beautiful eyes . 2-1-5; mEmisai aNdam ANdiruppARku- The Lord who also governs the world which above the world above. -The Lord who is the Lord of nithya-vibhUdhi.2-1-3; vEankadathu aRava-n-AyakaRku--2-1-2--The Lord who is great philanthrophist and residing in thirumalai- aRavan-The personification of aRam-parama-dhArmEgan. arukkaN mEavi niRpARku-2-1-7--The Lord who is the inner soul of the sun -arukkan-Adhithyan. vEankadathu Adu kUthanukku-2-1-9-The Lord who dances -the one who is in thirumlai. It cannot be a coincidence that all the AzhwAr-s talk about service to the Lord - ozhivil kAlam ellam, padiyAi kidandhu vun pavaLa vAi, and now thirumangai mannan. It is all nothing but vAtsalyam which attracts one and all. annamAi nigaindha amarar perumAn. vanamamalai padmanabhan
