Guest guest
Sri: SrimatE Gopaladesika MahadesikAya Namaha, It gives adiyen immense pleasure to complete the Padhuka Sahasram summary on this most auspicious day-the Tirunakshatram of Swami Desikan and Lord Srinivasa. This kaimkaryam began more than 5 years ago on the Tirunakshatram of ChakrathAzhwar in 1999 and has reached successful completion only on account of the boundless compassion and munificent grace of the Padhukas, Swami Desikan, and Our Acharyas. A number of Bhagavatas wrote supportive notes and offered words of encouragement during the course of this Kaimkaryam. Adiyen specifically wishes to acknowledge the support of Srimans Sadagopan Iyengar Swamin, Anbil Ramaswamy Swamin, Anand Karalapakkam Swamin, M.S. Hari Swamin, Mukundan Swamin, Madhavakkannan Swamin, Srinath Chakravarthy Swamin, Jaganath Bharadwaj Swamin, Sampath Rengarajan Swamin, Shyam Sreenivasan Swamin, Poondi Vijayaraghavan Swamin, Venkat Kanumalla Swamin, Murali Tirumalai Swamin, G.V. Prasad Swamin, Sunder Kidambi Swamin, Mani Varadarajan, Malolan Cadambi, and Chakrapani Swamin. A special note of thanks is due to Sriman V. Sadagopan Swamin, who worked tirelessly to add succinct summaries from the exhaustive source commentaries of Mahavidwan U.Ve. Uttamoor Veeraraghavachariar Swamin and Srimad Periya Andavan Ashramam as well as a brief note on the fine points of each verse from his own extensive knowledge of Sanskrit. A number of errors occured during the course of the Kaimkaryam on adiyen's part. However, as Swami Desikan fittingly describes it, "the melodious sounds of the Padhukas and the dazzling sight of their inlaid gems masked all the shortcomings (and made the offering acceptable to Bhagavatas from around the globe)". Adiyen dedicates this aNil Sevai to the gem bedecked Padhukas, and the Lotus Feet of Swami Desikan and asmadhAcharyan.
