Sri Ranganatha's Priest Living Quarters Project Update as of Nov 4 , 2004

Dear devotees of Lord RanganAtha around the world !

 

It is my pleasure to let you know that the third priest will be

joining us from Vaduvoor PatasAla . His name is Sri Venkatesh .

He is a GhanapAti at he young age of twenty six. He will join

the other priests , another GhanapAti from Chennai and

the priest Sri VaradarAjan , who is a Master of Yajur Vedam as well as

the NaalAyira Dhivya Prabhandham ( Four Thousand Sacred

collect of the AzhwArs and AmudanAr).

 

It pains one to see them struggling with their inadequate living

quarters in the basement of the temple . It will be a great day ,

when we secure the needed funds in 2005 to have more comfortable

priest quarters adjascent to the Lord's own house , here at Pomona , NY .

 

All of the Temple Raffle participants can be from anywhere in the world

to win the three prizes ( http://www.ranganatha.org) and do not need to be

present on the raffle drawing day ( Dec 31, 2004 : Midnight ) at the temple.

The winners will be notified and the three prizes or their equivalent

cash amounts will be awarded early in the new year of 2005 before

SankarAnthi celebrations .

 

We have sofar sold only 25% of the 2000 Tickets

and we are going to be experience a lot of

difficulties if we do not raise the required funds

of 200K$ in the reamining 57 days .

these tickets costing $100 each . Please contact me

the Veda Dheepam shine with splendour at

the Sri RanganAtha Temple along with the MangaLa

dhvani of NaalAyira Dhivya Prabhandham originating from
