Kadamba maharishi prathyaksham are in Thirukkoshtiyur as well as TiruKarambanur(Uttamar koil - Purushottaman). sthala puranam of TiruKarambanur and Thirukkoshtiyur includes Kadamba muni. In Thirukkoshtiyur, Uragamellanaiyaan is in a reclining posture, in response to prayers by Kadamba Maharishi. In Brahmanda Puranam it is mentioned that lord Narayana appeared in front of Brahma when he repeated the Dwadasakshara mantra. Narayana also appeared before kadamba rishi when he did severe penance in TiruKarambanur. Is there any work written by Kadamba rishi? I would like to learn more about this muni. Please include pramana describing lakshanas of Kadamba muni. Kadamba muni in Thirukkoshtiyur and vikahansa muni seems to have similar lakshanam with sankham, chakram, urthvapundra, having 4 hands is sitting in front of Perumal(Right side).
