Guest guest
SrI: SrImathE Gopaladesika mahadesikaya namah: Dearest Srivaishnavas, >From 32dn verse onwards Alavandhar describes very beautiful the divine beauty of the Lord- right from divine chest… The lotus feet has already been described in 31st. The mind went there; and now the mind travels upwards like a leaf caught by the wind of divine sowndharyam –on the knee caps, the pillar like thighs, the most beautiful yellow silk cloth around the waist; the wonderful colour of the divine Body; the stomach, the waist, the divine chest – are all described in subsequent verses. viraajamaanOjjvala peetha vaasanam smithaataseesoona samaamalaachavim nimagna naabhim thamnu madhyam unnatham visaala vakshasthala sObhi lakshaNam the One who wear the naturally beautiful and glittering yellow silk cloth [raiment] –[which is more beautiful and shining due to dark coloured divine body’s association]; the One who is resplendent and whose pure splendour like the blooming kaayam poo [dark blue hued flower]; who is majestically beautiful with the deep divine Navel; who has narrow and slender waist; who has the shining mark [srivathsam] on His broad, divine chest. Above the lotus feet- till the stomach, He wears the silk cloth and hence the cloth itself appears as if it is interspersed with the ThirumEni and is an integral part. Also the blue dark hued kaayaam poo flower like ThirumEni is in exact wonderful contrast to the most beautiful silk yellow cloth. The cloth combined with the shining lustre of thighs add the beautify combination. The Lord's thirumEni is like an emerald mountain . The golden yellow silk garment adorning His waist is like the cloud of mAnnickkam . NammAzhwAr , describes his feelings of joy this way: paticchOthi aadaiodum palkalanAi ninn paimponn katic chOthi kalanthathuvO ? AzhwAr wonders whether the lustre of the Lord's waist has transformed itself into the radiance of the peethAmparam and the jewels found around the waist region .The form is captivating and more so, with the slender waist, broad chest and the divine mark [srivathsam] on the divine chest- wherein Sri resides. Such divine appearance- most beautiful You- I need to spend all my time enjoying Your appearance serving You at all times blemishlessly and faultlessly; unlimited kaimkaryam uninterruptedly. ozivil kaalamellaam* udanaay manni,* vazuvilaa* adimai seyya vENdum_ naam,* thezikural _aruvith* thiruvEngadatthu,* ezilkoL sOthi* enthaithanthai thanthaikkE (2) 3.3.1 The Emperumaan, The Most Beautiful, unbounded infinite illustrious jOthi, my father’s father’s …….. father; He stands gracefully at TirumalA where the waterfalls fall with thunderous noise; To such Emperumaan- Please grant us the eternal servitude to perform all sorts of limitless uninterrupted kaimkaryams at all times, under all situations.
