Guest guest
Dear All, Pranams! With the Grace of Acharyan HH Kaliyan Vanamamalai Ramanuja Jeeyar Swami, aDiyEn attempts to write on a beautiful Divya Desa Peruamal. SriyaPathi is the One who cannot be completely matched by anyone else in all His Kalyana gunams. He is the origin and end of all the creation. He is very different from us, etc….. Azhwar’s Srisookthis (Tamizh Vedam) and the Vedas talk about all the above attributes and also His five states of existance. We have worshipped many Archavatara Perumals. Though He has shown His qualties of Sowlabyam and Sousheelyam in His avatarams, He never fails to prove His Swamitvam in His archa form. Swami Koorathazhwan has beautifully highlighted this fact in his Varadaraja Stavam. Following is what he says to Devadhirajan, ‘ Oh Varada, you know what? Your intention of showing your sowlabyam in playing with us is well known by us with the fact that you descended from SriVaikuntam to Hasthigiri. You have forgotten about something that clearly proves your Swamitvam. You forgot to leave your Kreetam (crown) in SriVaikuntam. The darshan of your Kreetam clearly proves that you are the Swamy of this enitre Universe.’ Rangathan is the master of all the Divya Desams. . He also is the commander in our Sampradayam, as He took Swami Ramanujar at the right time from Thirukkaachhi. ThiruVenkatamudayan is the One who stands in between our place and the place of Nityasuris to enable both the kind of bhaktas to have His darshan. Hence, His place is also not solely for us. This Perumal did not choose a place as Ranaganathan did for His bhOgam. He did not want to stand on a hill to enable special access for us, who are caught in samsara. This Perumal is not known by a vibhavam or archai alone. He is known by combining both in His name. More than anything else, this Perumal is very similar to us in one aspect. He is also in samsara like us, and like many of us, He has left His home town (SriVaikuntam) and migrated to a city. Unlike other Perumals, this Perumal stands with just two shoulders to make us feel more comfortable (sowlabyam to hide even His Swamitvam for souls in samsara). Who is this Perumal? What is His vaibhavam? What is the name of the Divya Desam? What is the special connection to our Azhwar and Acharya Goshti? Let us enjoy the answers to these questions in this series ‘Samsaric Perumal’ aDiyEn, ramanan The all-new My – What will yours do?
