Guest guest
Sri: Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama: Nanjeeyar asked Bhattar once "Is prapatti a matter of knowledge or is it a matter of action?" Bhattar replied "It is a matter of the object". Nanjeeyar's question was whether prapatti is the knowledge that the Lord is the means or if it is the act of presenting one's burden at the Lord's feet. Bhattar's reply was that neither of those is the means and it is the Lord Himself who is the means. That is, if the word prapatti is used in the sense of being the means, then the Lord itself becomes its meaning.
