Guest guest
SrI : Dear BhakthAs and VedAbhimAnis: Yesterday was the Monthly Thirunakshathram of Prakrutham HH SrImath Azhagaiya Singar . Since the consecration of His Silver Vigraham , HH SriMath Azhagiya Singar has been sitting majestically in front of Lord RanganAtha as the MukkOl Munivar and recieving AarAdhanam at the Pomona , NY Temple. One special event happened yesterday . We have now two Ghana Paadi Priests serving Lord RanganAthA at the Pomona Temple . adiyEn thought it will be wonderful to have a rendering of the Nakshathra Ghanam on HH Srimath Azhagiya Singar's birth star day. Typically this Nakshathra ghanam with its three PanchAdhis would take an hour to recite . Hence , the recitation was exclusively for the UtthirattAthi Nakshathram yesterday . Yesterday , HH Srimath Azhagiya Singar heard the Nakshathra Ghanam focuseed on PrOshDa Padhaa ( UtthirattAdhi) Nakshathram rendered in the most majestic manner . Lord RanganAtha must have been very pleased with this Veda ViNNappam since His Revathi Nakshathram is right next to PrOshDapadha . At the end of the recitation following Nava Kalasa Thirumanjanam including Sahasra dhArA , we concluded that it will be valuable to AasthikAs to hear the entire Nakshathra Ghanam recited by our Ghana Paadis , VaduvUr Sri Venkatesh and Chennai Sri Raamaswamy . On behalf of the Sri RanganAtha Temple , it is adiyEn's bhAgyam to communicate the plans for a full recording of all the 27 Nakshathra PanchAthis in Ghanam way of rendering with additional notes on each of these Nakshathrams for VedAbhimAnis to use in their own homes on special days. This rendering is mesmerizing and riveting . We will request one or more of the most respected GhanapAdis from Tamil Naadu to comment on the individual Nakshathra Manthrams . Two of the MahAns and Vedic experts , whom we plan to approach are: Sri Matam SrikAryam Swamy , SoorAdhyAyee GhanapADi PazhavEri Sri SaThakOpAchAr Swamy and VaduvUr Veda PaaDasAlai Principal, HH Srimath Andavan Thiruvadi , Sri Veeravalli GhanapAdi BhAshya MaNi , Sri DesikAcchArya Swamy . The recordings will be done in a Professional studio to realize the highest quality recording and the Multimedia CD ROM will be ready for release between SankarAnthy and the ending of Prabhandham anadhyayana Kaalam ( Swamy KurEsar's Thirunakshathram in the Month of Thai). Those who wish to sponsor this Kaimkaryam are requested to send their checks addressed to Sri Ranganatha Temple and let me know . All the sponsors will recieve a copy of the CD ROM , when it gets ready . The funds raised will be used for sambhAvanai to the Vedic scholars involved and to cover the expenses of creating and distributing this CD ROM along with the special notes . Whatever that would be left would be added to the Sri RanganAthA Temple Priest Quarters construction Kaimakryam that is underway . Please do not miss to have these Veda Manthrams in your households to be blessed with Nakshathra Saanthy for your families for times to come and ward off asubhams and amangaLams .
