Flash News on the Sri RanganAtha Temple Raffle results , Dec 31 ,2004

After the grand celebration of the 6th Adhyayana Uthsavam concluding

with Swamy NammAzhwAr MOksham on the vening of Dec 31 attended by

300 devotees , three children helped to select the three winning tickets

at Midnight .

 

The First prize of BMW 2005 went to a devotee from Wheaton , Illinois .

 

The second prize of the Time shared Beach Condo went to a devotee

from New City , Rockland County , NY , which is not too far from the temple .

 

The third prize of two RT tickets to India went to another resident

of Rockland county .

 

Approximately 1000 Tickets were purchased . We were permitted by the State

to use 2000 Tickets . The net proceeds of approximately 65K$ from this

raffle would be used as infra structure funds to find the living Quarters for

the Priests . We will need additional funds to complete the fund raising efforts.

 

Meanwhile , sincere thanks to every one , who particpated in this effort

and we will keep you posted on additonal developments .
