Guest guest
Sri: Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha Sri Ahobila Mutt Oriental School of West Mambalam, Chennai is a role model among educational institutions that impart 'vaideek' as well as 'lowkeek' knowledge. In addition to the regular state-level school syllabus, eligible students also undergo Veda-adhyananam. It is a delight to observe these young, budding adhikaris recite with utmost respect for their adhyapaka-teacher. The academic year keeps them very busy with both school work as well as veda-class. School vacation, however, gives them the extra time to visit homes on invitation for veda-paaraayanam. A couple of clips taken at a Chennai home: http://media.oppiliappan.org May their tribe increase! [teachers, students, as well as such parents!] namO veda purushAya, rAmAnuja dAsan.
