Guest guest
Dear friends/members, Recently an ardent "sudarsna-upAsaka" (ardent devotee of Sudarsna, the mighty weapon of Lord Vishnu) gave me the text of a short but sweet-sounding Sanskrit "stOttra" called "saulabhya-choodAmani-stOtra". It is in praise of Sri Sudarsna chakra. I have added this beautiful stOtra to my "nityAnusandAnam", my daily litany of short-prayers. I want to obtain the following information which knowledgeable members of the list may perhaps might be able to help me with: The hymn begins with "brahmO'vAcha". I therefore infer the stOtra must be a passage from some old "purANA". Can anyone tell me which source "purANa"? What is the general gist of the stOtra? What is the "phala-sruti"? Does anyone have a word-for-word translation in English? Much obliged if anyone can throw some light. Thanks and regards, dAsan, Sudarshan ______________________ India Matrimony: Find your life partner online Go to: http://.shaadi.com/india-matrimony
