On this day , Some 158 years ago , the great Raama Bhakthar , Sri ThyagarAja Swamigal shook His mortal coils off and attained the sacred feet of His AarAdhana Moorthy , Sri Raamachandran . Since he had entered SanyAsa Aasramam 10 days before the date of His departure from this earth , a BrundhAvanam was constructed over His samAdhi ( Place of internment of His bodily remains) on the banks of River Cauvery . It is here the shrine for Saint ThyAgaraja exists and the yearly AarAdhanam takes place . Gana Raaga Pancha Rathna Krithis in the RaagAs , Naattai , GpwLai , Aarabhi, VarALi and Sri Raagam are sung and Naadha NaivEdhyam by Musicians from every part of BHAratha Desam is offered . In respectful rememberance of this day , adiyEn is releasing special articles on the Pancha Rathna Krithis( 5) , Uthsava SampradhAya Krithis (24), Dhivya Naama Krithis(42) , Nowka Charithra Krithis , PrahlAdha Bhaktha Vijaya Krithis and HarikAmbhOji MeLam and HarikAmbhOji Janya Raaga Krithis(28) and Sri Ranga Pancha Rathna Krithis (5) .
