of Swamy KurEsar to Sri VaishNava Darsanam and His extraordinary

AchArya Bhakthi on this thirunakshathram day of Sri KUratthAzhwAn .

Here are Sriman PadmanAbhan's ten points about the Vaibhavam

of Swamy KurEsar :

 

1.Throwing away the last remnants of his wealth on the way to

kAnchipuram (madiyilE gaNam irundhAl thAnE, vazhiyilE bayam?)

 

2.Assisting Sri RaamAnuja in obtaining RahasyArTams from sri thiru-kOTTiyUr nambi.

 

3.Assisting Sri RaamAnuja in Sri BhAshyam write up.

 

4.Refusing to write the great works of Udayavar where he did not consent.

 

5.The man behind the veLLai sAtthu paDi.

 

6.Proclaiming that the shivA is not even the second supreme.

 

7.Losing his eyes for the sake of srIvaishNavism.

 

8.Seeking salvation even for nAlUrAn.

 

9.Declaring that he preferred sri RaamAnuja -his AchArya- to sri Nam-PerumAL.

 

10.Travelling to Parama-Padham prior to his AchAryan to welcome

His beloved AchAryan there.

 

The Two Kaimkaryams for March-May 2005

On this most auspicious day , adiyen is taking the Sankalpam to write

about the Pancha Sthavams of Swamy KurEsar in the context of raising

needed funds to complete two Kaimkaryams in 2005:

 

1) Upgrading of the earlier CD ROM on AchArya RaamAnujA created

by Professor M.A.Alwar of Mysore/Melkote so that it can be played on

all Microsoft Operating Systems . This CD ROM is in English and is

a brilliant , Multimedia disc of interst to Sri VaishNavAs at every level

and is a reference work . AchArya RaamAnujA's dhivya Charitham ,

His Sri Sookthis , Bhagavath AarAdhanam and amny more topics are covered

in this extraordinary and well crafted CD ROM . This is more a software

Fix .

 

2) Few Months Back , another Major effort was initiated by Professor

M. A. Alwar to create 2 CD ROMs on the Vaibhavam of 12 AzhwArs ,

their Sri Sookthis (audio recording of their AruLiccheyalkaLs) .

This is CD ROM like the AchArya RaamAnujA CD ROM is also interactive

Mulimedia and the language of presentation is English . The First CD

Rom (AzhwAr: Volume I has been released and covered the Lives and

AruLiccheyalkaLs of the 3 Mudhal AzhwArs , PeriyAzhwAr , Andal ,

ThiruppANar and Thondardippodi .A total of SEVEN AzhwArs were

covered in Volume I with rcitations of all their Paasurams by

the AdhyApAka Ghoshti of MelkOte DEvasthAnam .

 

Volume II is under preparation now and will cover the Vaibhavam and

Dhivya Prabahndhams of Swamy NammAzhwAr , Madhura Kavi , KulasEkharar ,

Thirumazhisai and ThirumangaiAzhwAr. It is a challenge to manage

this vast content . With the dhivya Dampathy's anugraham , both

SrimAn AlwAr and adiyEn will manage it .

 

These two CD ROMs along with that of AchArya RaamAnuja will provide

hours of information and enjoyment for Sri VaishNavite Families .

Of this , we are sure . For us to complete this Kaimkaryam ,

we need Your support. We have been blessed to recieve $500 of

the needed $2,000 to complete this project by May 2005 and

send you these two CD ROMs.
