Guest guest
thiDa visumbu The Strong AkAsam We have seen earlire that AzhwArs thrive in the adverbs and adjectives. Here is again one. Of the pancha-bhUtham which is the longest and strongest. The Lord creates the AkAsam first. The others follow. The others are destroyed first and the final turn is that of the AkAsam. That is why sri nam-AzhwAr in the first thiru-voi-mozhi states "thiDa visumbu..." Sri thirumangai mannan also speaks of this in sem-pon sei kOil, thiru-mozhi "thiDA visumbu eri nEr thingaLum sudarum.." 4-3-3; Here, sri periya-vAchAn piLLai's vyAkyanam is wonderful 'lOkAyAdhigaL AkAsam enRoru thathvamillai enRAn. avanudaiya madathai nirasikkaikkAga vaidhEga prakraiyinpaDiyEa "AkAsath vAyuhU:" The lOkayAdhigaL mentioned that there is no such thathvam as AkAsam. To demolish their theory sri thirumangai mannan not onlymentions AkAsam but mentions that as the strongest by mentioning "thiDa visumbu" vanamamalai padmanabhan ..
