Guest guest
5+3+1+1 LOGIC BEHIND THE NUMBERS We observe in sevaral pAsurams AzhwArs talking in final pAsurams of tens, mentioning "five pulus five" or "nine plus one' In this particular thiru-mozhi thriumangai AzhwAr mentions : "...aindhinodu mUnRum onRinoDu onRum..." 3-10-10; These ten pAsurams are classified as four groups. one group consisiting of five pAsuramsl; The next three pAsurams forming a category,. The next class containing one and the final one. What is the logic behind these numbers. The pAsuram-s 2,3,7, 8 and 9 talk about Lord krshNA and these are clubbed as one group of 5. The fourth, fifth and sixth pAsuram-s talk about narasimha,vAmana and rAmAvathAram form the group of 3. The first pAsuram talks of archAvathAram is a category and the final pAsuram being pHala sruthi forming the final one. vanamamalai padmanabhan
