Here is the info you may want: For the exact "dates" you may have to ck

with the proper Panchanga and with elders.

.........I am summarizing the information published in SrI Ra'nganAtha pAdukA, which

refelcts the vaDa kalai sampradAyam position and qoted by Sriman

Krishnamachari:"SrI Kaliyan started the adhyayana utsavam in SrI

ra'ngam.

On the day of tiruk kArtigai, he brought SrI nammAzhvAr from triuk

kurugUr, bearing him on his shoulders. After the 10th day after

vaikunTha ekAsaSi day, SrI nammAzhvAr was taken back to tiruk

kurugUr. He arrived at tiruk kurugUr on the day of the hasta

nakshatram in the tamizh month of tai (the month after mArgazhi).

The devotees of tiruk kurugUr waited for SrI nammAzhvAr to be back

before they resumed the chanting of tiruvAimozhi, and resumed the

chanting only after his arrival. This same rule has since been

adopted for all the AzhvAr's aruLic ceyal-s.

It is a coincidence that the hastam nakshatram of tai month happens

to the birth star of kUrattAzhvAr.

Following this practice, the chanting of tiruppallANDu in houses of

SrI vaishNava-s is started on the hasta nakshatram day of the tai

month.

The practice in temples differs depending on the temples. Even during

the anadhyayana kAlam, the vaDa kalai sampradyam followers are

permitted to chant the divya prabandha taniyans and SrI deSika

prabandham in the temples as well as in the houses, according to the

niyamanam of svAmi deSikan's tiruk-kumArar, SrI kumAra nayinAccArya

and SrI brahma tantra svatantra jeeyar".The above response was

provided in SrI ra'nganAtha pAdukA by SrI nATTEri kiDAmbi

rAjagopAlAcArya, and reflects the position of the vaDa kalai

sampradAyam.
