lankA's settled problem- Settled

 

ilangai manniya iDumbai thEra

 

It is well known that chakravathith thiru-magan entered lankA to

reclaim/rescue pirAtti. pirAtti took upom Herself the task of

releasing the plight of dhEva mAthargaL.

 

However, thirumangai mannan feels that sri rAmA has also solved the

problem of lankA. How is that? What is the problem of lankA?

 

Sri periya vAchAn piLLai has defined problem of a place:

 

"OrUrukku nanmai Avadhu, vasthu bUdhar vardhikkai;

thEmai Avadhu-avasthukkaL vardhikkai;"

 

A place becomes good if good people are its citizens and becomes bad

if bad people are its residents.

 

lankA permanently had the rAkshasA settlement which made it a bad place.

 

sri rAmA, by vanquishing all these bad elements and solved lankAs problems.
