Sri Sridhar Lakshminarasimhan of Bangalore has created number of

outstanding CD ROMs and Web sites focusing on Sri VaishNavite AchAryAs

and Temples . Most recent of them is the eye pleasing , information-laden

web site on VaishNavite Temples of Karnataka with links to the time of

AchArya RaamAnuja in the Twelfth Century . AchArya RaamAnuja came to

Melkote at the age of 82 and stayed there for 12 long years in and around

Melkote . During his time , VaishNava darsanam and temple worship grew .

Great AchAryaas like Nanjeeyar , Adhi VaNN SaThakOpar arose out of the fertile

soil of Karantaka and advanced the worship of Sriman NaarAyaNa there .

 

Sri Sridhar is developing Multimedia Content based web pages for the Karnataka

VaishNavite Temples and is touring all of these sthalams in Karnataka on the fact

data collecting mission . Please see his note below regarding the places

he plans to visit during March 18 to 21 with another devotee from

Singapore : Sri Haresh Balasubramanyan .

Tour help

Respected Bhagavathas,

 

I and Haresh of Singapore intend to tour Hassan and Mysore district

and cover some of Vaishnava Temples . I need your help in route

planning. Once this tour is complete your web site

www.karnatakavaishanavatemples.net will have more temples pages and

also it iwl appear in Gopura Darisanam .

 

We intend to start on on 18th early morning to start we want to go to

Bindiganavile , then Nuggehalli,Then Shathigrama, Then Hassan, eveing

Bylahali , Alur etc.next day Belur halebedu, then next day

ramanathpura,Saligrama, T Narsipur,Mysore & Hedathale ( Birth place

of HH Rangapriya Swami and abode of Srikantha Perumal.

 

Can you all guide me in route planning and inform which al near by

placei can cover? and intedn to return back on 21st March back t

base say by eveing.
