Guest guest
Azhwars Anubhavam of Sowrirajan Contd... All kinds of pious entities have great connection to our sampradayam. One among them is forest. Many Kshetrams were all forests, VIkshAranyam (Thiruevvul), BrindAranyam (ThiruAllikkeni), NaimichAranyam are a few to mention. There is also AyOdya (that which can never be defeated), a rajyam (country). Both these pious entities were sung in a combined fashion when having the anubhavam of Sowrirajan. Here is the anubhavam, kAttil vEnkadam, kannapuranagar…. Andal, who wanted to marry Krishna, used to draw circles and complte them so that she will get to join her lover. In that aspect, she thinks about Sowrirajan. She compares the vanam to ThiruVenkadam, and Ayodya nagar to Kannapuranagar. This is a beautiful anubhavam of 2 Divya Desams in one pasuram, including the vibhavam. Andal’s father, PeriyAzhwar, who sang on Krishnar sang about ThiruKannapuram Perumal in Aduga Senkeerai pathikam. He combined 4 Divya Desams in that anubhavam, Thirukkurungudi (Nambi, SundaraParipooranan), Thiruvellarai (Pudarikakshan), Thirumaliruncholai (Azhagar) and Thirkkannapuram (Sowrirajan) were enjoyed in a single pasuram when singing on Krishna’s sengIrai paruvam. Kaliyan, who was specifically born for this Perumal; Andal, who was born to marry Krishnar, PeriyAzhwar who took care of Krishnar (Pongum parivu) were all in line with their anubhavam. Kulasekara Azhwar, a chera king, who was completely immersed in anubhavam on Rama, sung on Rama when singing the thalattu for Perumal. He sang 10 beautiful pasurams on Thirukkannapuram perumal as thallattu pasurams. Mangalasasanam by VazhudhinAdan is the one that adds the jewel to the crown of Azhwar Goshti’s anubhavam of Sowrirajan. Let us enjoy that in the following posting, aDiyEn, ramanan Do You ?
