My sister has composed and tuned more that 200 krithis in ghana and Apoorva Raagams along with many tillaanAs and VarNams for use in Bharatha Naatyam . Notable among her creative output is a varNam on Nava NarasimhAs of Ahobilam and a set of 72 Krithis in MeLa Raagams starting from KanakAngi . The Mela Raaga Krithis in VakuLAbharaNam , Navaneetham on Lord Oppiliappan are very enjoyable . Very few male or female composers have attempted to compose krithis in the 72 Mela Raagams .
