Today,21st March of 2005 (Panguni Pushyam) is the 99th

thirunakshatram of Srimath Thirukkudanthai Andavan, one of the most

illustrious Acharyas of Srirangam Srimath Andavan periAshramam.

Srimath Andavan was in the Acharya peetam for 25 years between years

1964-1989. Let us recite this mahAn's thanian on this auspicious day

and pray for His full blessings.

Dear Sri Venkat Srinivasan :

On this Panguni Pushyam and EkAdasi day , it is a BhAgyam to recieve Your

mail on HH Sri Thirukkudanathai Andavan . It brought back a lot of memories .

During the September 2004 Visit to Chennai for the SamarpaNam of

RathnAngi for Lord Devanatha of Thiruvaheendhrapuram , adiyEn

had the BhAgyam of staying 2 nights at HH Srimath Andavan's

Poorvaasramam house at West Mambalam .

AdiyEn had the parama BhAgyam of being in the Pooja Graham of Srimath Andavan

and the darsana soubhAgyam of HH's and the PoorvAchArya PaadukhAs at HIs house .

HH's daughter in law is second cousin of mine and she lives in HH's house now at

West Mambalam .

adiyEn's father was a dear friend and Baalya snEhithar of HH SrImath Andavan

from HH's Thirukkudanthai days . My father would have been 100 this year

in Iypaasi Mrugaseerasham.

The wonderful coincedence was adiyEn's stay at HH's house was just prior to the visit

to Thiruvaheendhrapuram was such an auspicious happening . Swamy Desikan

must have willed it that way it looked since HH Thirukkudanthai Andavan had the samarpaNam

of RathnAngi for Swamy Desikan some 3 decades ago . This time , the samarpaNam

was for the Lord of Swamy Desikan .

When we arrived at Thiruvaheendhrapuram with the RathnAngi from

Chennai , it was the second day

of the annual PurattAsi Uthsavam for Swamy Desikan . The palanquin of Swamy Desikan in Veethi

PuRappAdu just turned around the corner of the Raaja Veethi as if Swamy Himself wanted to greet

the RathnAngi for His Lord and felt more comfortable that He alone does not need to wear

anymore the RathnAngi as a result of the magnificent particpation of His many BhakthAs from

all over the world . It looked like the cycle was completed .
