Adiyen takes this opportunity to thank all bhagavatas for their

patience in going through these series of postings though it has

taken quite sometime and also with some short breaks in between.

Thiruppavai is such an excellent prabhandam that the divine arthas

embedded in these paasurams never get exhausted and that is why each

year there is so many people crowding to hear thiruppavai upanyasams.

More than new faces there are mostly the same set of people

interestedly waiting to hear to the lectures as after enjoying the

nectar once, it is very difficult to miss the same. The ultimate

enjoyment is listening to a kalashepam having the poorvacharya

vyakhyanams in front of us. The greatness of our poorvacharyas is

vachAmagOcharam (that which cannot be explained by mere words).

 

Sri Parasara Bhattar says, “pasu, thOl kandrukkum erangumApOlE” Like a

cow that gives milk even if we place a stuffed calf without life in

front of it, emperuman Sriman Narayanan will bless us with all the

riches in this world and also grant us moksha if we just recite these

paasurams and pose ourselves to follow the footsteps of andal. Even

if reciting is not possible can’t we at least think about andal and

the great acharyas who have blessed us with this great treasure? Let

us all remain indebted to our azhvars and acharyas forever then

emperuman is sure to pour his nirheduka krupa kataksham on all of us

so that we all will be blessed as per the words of kodha nachiyar

“engum thiruarul peRRu enburuvar”

 

“Srimatyai vishnuchitArya manO nandhana hEthavE

nandanandana sundaryai kOdhAyai nithya mangalam”
