Acharya Ramanuja's Three Gadhyams tuned to Music by Srimathy Mysore Nagamani

Dear Sri VaishNavAs :

 

On a Panguni Utthiram day , AchArya RaamAnuja enjoyed

the annual sErthi Sevai of Sri RanganAyaki and Sri RanganAtha .

AchArya RaamAnuja's happiness knew no bounds . He recognized

that this was the occasion to perform His SaraNAgathy at the sacred

feet of the dhivya Dampathys of Srirangam and out of the great AchArya

burst forth the three Gadhyams (SaraNAgathy , Sriranga and Sri Vaikunta

Gadhyams) wrapped in Parama Bhakthi . The Dhivya Dampathis granted

their dear RaamAnujar his wish and accepted His prayer for SaraNAgathy .

 

These three exquisite Gadhyams are recited every day at Sri Ahobila

Matam . Swamy Desikan and others have written details commentary

about the deep meanings enshrined in these gadhyam ChUrNikais

( passages) .

 

Srimathy Mysore Nagamani has tuned the complex and majestic Sanskrit

saili of AchArya RaamAnuja in 45 rakthi and Ghana Raagams . Stoppings

at the right times thru breaking of the sandhis is not an easy task even

for reciters . To sing it with precise stops and with the right raagams is

a wonderful achievement by this talented VidhwAn .
