Dear Bhagavathas,

 

On the occasion of Sri Ramanuja Jayanthi, I humbly request All The Sri

Vaishnavas - Sri Ramanuja Dasas to accept Adiyen's humble and

respectful Pranams.

 

No words can adequately bring forth the Greatness of Emberumaanaar.The

Nootrandhaadhi by Sri Thiruvarangathu Amudhanaar is a great work of

excellence.The nicety with which Amudhanaar praises Ramanuja by

telling the Greatness of Nammazhwar and other Azhwars whom Ramanuja

adores, is a very pleasant method worth enjoying.

 

Each oif the 108 Verse in The Nootrandhaadhi - The Prapanna Gayathri -

is a masterpieece to study and ponder over its meaning in its full

depth.

 

Verse 25 reads as follows :

 

Kaaraei KauNai Ramanusa * Ikkadalidathil

Arae aribavar ninnaruLin thanmai ? * allallukku

Neraeuraividam naan vandhu nee ennai uithapin un

Seeraeuyirkkuyirai * adiyerkkinRu thithikkumae.

 

(He Ramanuja, very kind and merciful like the clouds pouring rain, who

in this world bound by sea , knows the greatness of your quality of

kindness ? I am the very embodiment of misery. But after you have

taken over me (my heart) as very dear to you, it is all Bliss for me

(this miserable person).

 

Yes, our Emberumaanaar is really kindness personified . He has shown

us that Sriman Narayana is The Supreme and has laid the foundation of

the method of worshipping him, which is being followed by all Sri

Vaishnavas even today.

 

To such a Great Acharya, Sri Ramanuja, let us place our greatfulness

and cling to His lotus feet on this auspicious - Chithirai,

ThiruvAdhirai - Ramanuja Jayanthi Day.
