Guest guest
Sri Parthasarathi thunaiSrimathe ramanujaya NamahaSrimad Vara Vara munayE NamahaSri vAnAchala mahA munayE Namaha Paasuram-40 "verpendru vENkadam pAdinEn veedAkkinirkindrEn nindru ninaikkindrEn-karkindRanoolvalaiyil pattrirundha noolAttikElvanArkAlvalaiyil pattrirundhEn kAn." What I did was very small but the result obtained is eminent. (verpendru vEnkadam pAdinEn) I didn't do anything special. I was just pronouncing the names of various mountains, viz., kochchi malai, kudamalai, emayamalai and suddenly without my knowledge I happened to say "Thiruvenkatamalai". Emperuman counted this to be my mangalasasanam to thiruvenkatamalai and hence I have been included into the bhagavata ghosti who sing the praise of emperuman. (veedAkki nirkindrEn ) You know what happened as the result? I have been blessed with the parama purushArtham. That very abode of emperuman that cannot be reached by even great rishis, devas, brahma or rudra has become very easy for me. Vishnu purana and bharatha declare the difficulty for even the great rishis and others to reach the divine abode of emperuman. But now azhvar says that he had made that divine abode reachable to him just by uttering the divine name of thiruvenkatamalai. (nindru ninaikkindrEn) Just by uttering the divine name once is it possible to attain such a great outcome? It is really unbelievable and hence azhvar himself is under confusion and hence he says he is analysing the same. It is said that it is very difficult to bring our mind under control. "sanjalam he mana krishna" (geetha) and "nindravA nillA nenju" (periya thirumozhi 1-1-4) Azhvar gets even his mind under control to explore the possibility. I stand and analyse and due to surprise I have been made to stand not being able to move. On analysing azhvar realises that all has happened due to the divine grace of piratti who acts as purushakAra bhoothai and also due to the nirhEduka krupai of emperuman and hence azhvar involves himself deeply into the kalyana gunas of the divine couples. (karkindra noolvalaiyil pattrirundha noolAttikElvanAr) Lakshmi nAdhan, emperuman is been locked into the net of vedas that is chanted in the appropriate manner. A net is a combination of thread joined in a manner so as to catch a fish or an animal. Here the net is the vedas and the one locked inside is emperuman Sriman nArayanan. This indicates that the parabrahmam declared in the vedas is none other than sriman narayanan. (noolAtti) The one who rules the thread/book, the vedas. We all know that the vedas talk about emperuman but does it extensively talk about piratti? If we talk about a pot then it includes the family of pots. Similarly if we talk about emperuman then it surely includes piratti who is the svaroopaniroopaka dharmam. "emperumAnai sonna vidaththilE pirAttiyaiyum solliRRAm" -these are the words of emperumanar quoted by Sri VedAntha desikar in his rahasya traya sAram. "miyEkilair mAnai:" [i am been measured by all pramanas] declares piratti in lakshmi tantram and the vedas say, "vishnu patnee" The same has been declared by nammazhvar also ["OdhuvAr OththellAm evvulagaththevvevayum sAdhuvAi ninpugazhin tagaiallAl piridillai... poovinmEl mAdhu vAzh mArbinAi]. Emperuman is the backbone of this universe. Piratti is his andharanga vishEshanam (establishing proof) If we talk about him that indicates her also and if we talk about her it implies to him too. (noolAtti) all happened due to her purushakaram.(noolAtti kElvanar) even if piratti by chance complains about any jeevatma emperuman is always there to support and take care of his devotees. "tannadiyAr tirathagaththu tAmaraiyAl Agilum siraguraikkumEl" (noolAtti kElvanar kAlvalaiyil pattrirundhEn kAn) the divine couples are rushing in the race to help the devotees and shower their divine grace on all of us. I have now been trapped under their divine feet. (kAn) Oh! mind you also get trapped into the divine feet of the divine couples and never try to get released.
