Srivaishnava AchAryAs are GyAnis who sacrifice

all attachments in life to serve Lord Sriman Narayana, guide us in the

righteous path and the path of Saranagathy. Retaining AchAryA’s teachings

in one's mind, singing the glory and spreading the AchAryA’s greatness,

are only very minuscule payback to an Acharya when compared to the great

sacrifice an acharya undergoes for His sishyas. Our great AchAryAs have

preserved the traditions unbroken through the ages and aglow with ever

fresh relevance to changing circumstances of contemporary times. The 11th

Andavan of Srimath Andavan Periaashramam, His Holiness Sri Ranga RAmAnuja

MahADEsikan is one such sadhAcharyan who has uplifted many a soul to the

holy feet of Lord Narayana, to bring deliverance to thousands of disciples

from ever revolving samsAra. Srimath Andavan's Sapthathi (71st Thirunakshatram)

is celebrated as a Mahotsavam at Srirangam in the midst of five other

great Srivaishnava Acharyas. What a great divine sight it is going to be

at Srirangam to see all these Acharyas and their sishyas in a single place

!! For the benefit of the many bhagavathas living outside India and unable

to participate at Srirangam, Sri Ramanuja Mission of Srirangam Srimath

Andavan Ashramam along with many hosts will be celebrating the Thirunakshatra

mahotsavam around the world in the week of June 05-12, 2005. It will be

a fitting tribute to Srimath Andavan when all Srivaishnavas together like

these great Acharyas, and celebrate this joyous occasion. We request you

to kindly utilize this opportunity and get the blessings of Srimath Andavan

and Sri Ranganatha Divya dampathis.

For all the upahAram that an acharyan

does in the service of uplifting our souls to do nithya kainkaryam to Lord

Narayana, giving various upanyasams and kalakshebhams even in the midst

of tiring sancharams and for constantly taking up many projects for performing

bhagavath kainkaryam and for sustenance of our age old Srivaishnava sampradayam....all

we can do is to sing His praise and offer our Acharya sambhavanai regularly

particularly on the occasion of His thirunakshatram. Sri Ramanuja Mission

is targetting to raise a minimum of $71,000 to be submitted to Srimath

Andavan as our collective sambhavana on this occasion. We seek generous

contributions from Srimath Andavan's sishyas, abimanis, all other Srivaishnavas

and bhagavathas alike to achieve this target to support Srimath Andavan's

key initiatives like Veda Patasala and sustenance and propagation of our

Srivaishnava sampradayam.
