Guest guest
SRIMATHE RAMANUJAYA NAMHA. First let us make a split –up detail of the mini yugas on the basis of 4:3:2:1 One half of this 1 cycle, namely 28,800 years is day and the other half is night. In other words, it could be equated to ascending and descending of whatever constitutes the cycle’s nature. This number is 14,400 years. Splitting this into 4 mini yugas, we get 5760, 4320, 2880 and 1440 as the number of years in the order from satya yuga to kali yuga Taking the year 3102 BC as the cut-off year as it has been now universally accepted as the year of Krishna’s departure and the advent of Kali, let us calculate the years of the previous mini-yugas. 3102 + 2880 = 5982 BC when Dwapara yuga started. 5982 + 4320 = 10,302 BC when Thretha yuga started. 10,302 + 5,760 = 16,062 BC when Krutha yuga started. That is, the present cycle of 28,800 years (in our words, the mini chatur yuga) started in the year 16,062 BC, assumed to be the day time of the cycle. By adding the AD years completed so far, namely 2004 to this number, we arrive at 18,066 years to be the period completed so far from the beginning of the mini yuga. Deducting 14,400 years (the duration of day) from this number , we get 3,666 years as from when the night of this cycle has begun. Deducing 2004, we get the year 1662 BC a the year when the night or pralaya part or the negative part of the cycle had begun! One crucial correlation is that it is around this period that Vedic religion and the landmass of Arya vartha where Vedic /Aryan society flourished in the Kali Maha yuga (which is what we are going through at the cosmic scale) started suffering the downfall. The Mlechcha desa or foreign country, (which lies outside this Arya vartha bordered with the Himalayas) gains supremacy in this night part of the cycle. By implication this second half of the cycle connotes the decline of Vedic land and its values. But the picture is not pure decline. How? The other round of yugas has to begin from Satya yuga which must have commenced in the year 1662 BC. The progression from then on will be like this; 1662 BC + 5760 Years = 4098 AD (satya yuga ends) 4098 AD + 4320 years = 8418 AD (Thretha yuga ends) 8418 AD + 2880 years = 11,298 AD (Dwapara yuga ends) 11,298 AD + 1440 years = 12,738 AD ( Kali yuga ends, The cycle ends. The first of the 4 pole stars come in place) Looking at the present period of Satya yuga in the night side of the cycle which is to last till 4098 AD, yes, there is knowledge explosion as was witnessed in Vedic satya yuga. But it is happening in the mlechcha desa. Even the Aryans of Vedic values are able to excel in knowledge of unbelievable kind from micro to macro cosmic levels only in mlechcha deas. This is perhaps the yuga dharma of satya yuga at the night side. It is possible to reach the level that Vedic seers reached, to create even human beings in seconds by thought force and even create Brahmasthras of cosmic relevance. We have evidence to all this happening. But all such knowledge is used with no Vedic sanction. In other words, there is decline in moral and ethical notions in using this knowledge. The thretha yuga that comes thereafter might exhibit everything of the past Thretha yuga but in the back drop of decline of values. There might perhaps be wars of rakshasa kind in that period. The explanation can be taken further in this way. In this I want to concentrate on 2 issues of relevance to our discussion. (1) The pralaya part applying to this Bhartha kandam or Arya vartham, since our texts are exclusively about Aryan culture. India is in a much vulnerable zone with the push into the Asian landmass, making the entire area between Himalayas and the Vindhyas at risk to pralaya accentuated by the burst of Himalayan dams triggered by earthquakes, receding Himalayan glaciation, torrential rains etc. The south of the Vindhyas also has come under threat of pralaya of tsunami kind. For a keen observer of planetary positions, such misfortunes seem to continue in the coming years too, one being the dangerous combination in the coming month of Purattasi when deadly line up of planets take place along the line of 180 degrees of virgo and pisces at two ends with two eclipses taking place in Arya vartha. Virgo at the center of rotation of Sun and its neighbourhood stars accentuates an influence of a serious kind just as how a more deadlier coupling between our galactic center (Sagittarius) and the place of our origin in outer space, marked by falling within the arc of Vaikunta Ekadasi occurred on a Full moon day on December 26 with major terrestrial planets falling in place within the 20 degree region of the plane. So in my opinion, the pralaya part is applicable to entire Arya vartha. This is also marked with decline in Vedic culture, (not of man) in this region. (2) Raama’s period. If we make our calculations in this way only, we are able to account for the inputs from many sources used to date the progression and progress of mankind. Prof Varthak’s date of Raama is 7323 BC. This exactly fits in the period between 5982 BC to 10,302 BC of the thretha yuga calculated above. Other corroboratory research (which will be furnished in the last mail of this series) also point out to this period. Another crucial piece of evidence is about the period that Raama reigned, which is said to be 11,000 years in Valmiki Ramayana. Raama’s age till now + the present satya yuga (till the advent of next thretha yuga), that is, 7323 + 4098 (AD) = 11,421 years this exactly explains the 11,000 reign of Raama. How this is arrived at will be taken up in the next mail.
