Guest guest
Sri: The word 'Ananya' is basically a negative pronoun which brings to mind several important slokas. 1) 'ananyA hi mayA sItA bhAskareNa prabhA yathA'..SriRama 2) 'ananyA rAghaveNAham bhaskareNa prabhA yathA'...SriSita 3) 'ananyachEtAssatatam ' 4) 'ananyAschintayanto mAm'... SriKrishNa. It has several meanings according to the context. It means 'na anya: yasya sa: ananya:' like in 'ananyasharaNa' 'ananyabhogya' 'uNNum shOru paruhu nIr tinnum vettilai yellAm kannan' etc one who has no other refuge, one who has no other object of joy. In (1) and (2) above, ananyA means not different or not separate. or identical. How can Rama and Sita be identical? Just like the Sun and His effulgence are one and the same is the answer. In 3)the compound word with ananya means one who has nothing else in mind except KrishNa. In 4) the word 'ananyA:' means those who are thinking of none other Krishna and for no other benefit.
