(1) By copy of this note , adiyEn is requesting him to let us know

what would be the sponsorship amount for sixteen days of ghee dheepa

samarpaNam for Sri ShOdasa Bhuja Narasimhan for the benfit of aasthikAs

interested in such kaimkaryam . If two dozen BhaagavathAs are able to support this

Kaimkaryam , the entire year will be covered .

 

(2) For the second Kaimakryam of the MahA MaDapam construction in front of

Lord Hayagrivan's sannidhi , adiyEn is delighted to know that the construction

has been completed for alomost one third of the total square footage of 3,887 .

Regarding the remaining 2602 Square feet of construction , adiyEn requests

Sriman Soundararajan Desikan to let us know the estimated cost for 10 Square feet

of construction . Perhaps the aasthikAs and Lord HayagrIva BhakthAs would be

interested to share these expenses . Those BhakthAs supporting this and the Ghee

dheepa Kaimkaryam for Lord Narasimhan can recieve the books released by

Sri Kainkarya Sabha on our sampradhAyam .

This is a Nrusimha Khsetra, situated

about 3kms west of

Abhishekapakkam road junction of Pondicherry--Cuddalore Road.This holy place

is at a distance of about 15 kms from POndicherry.

This temple dedicated to Sri Nrusimha

belong to Chola period,identified as AYIRRUR of ALWAR of

Singavezhkundram(1051 A.D.)There were stone inscriptions in the

temple which describe the donations offered by Chola Kings , Sri

Krishnadevaraya etc to Sri Nrusimha.

 

Sri Nrusimha is giving dharsan with 16

hands( thirukkarams)in a gigantic posture( Pl see photo in the

website).There were Neelavathi, wife of HIranyakasibu, threeASuras,

Prahladha , Sukracharya, Vasishta in the lower east of the pedastal

Sri Devanathan , the presiding deity of

THiruvaheendrapuram is giving dharsan here as Sri Nrusimha. Sri

Thirumangai Azhvar says that SRi Nrusimha is there at

Thiruvaheendrapuram as Sri Devanatha.Markandeya purana describes this

Thoroughout the cosmic world , you cannot

worship such a gigantic Nrusimha except here . This temple was

constructed with reference to BHeejatshara of Sri Nrusimha Anushtup

Nrusimha Jayanthi. Uthsavar goes to Pondicherry sea-shore during Masi

I am forwarding a note form Sriman Soundararajan Desikan,

who is actively involved in constructing a MahA mantapam

for Lord Hayagrivan's sannidhi on top of the Oushada Giri

at Thiruvaheendhrapuram , where Lord Hayagrivan blessed

Swamy Desikan to become the KavitArkika Simham to

defeat Para Mathams and to nurture Bhagavath RaamAnuja

SidhdAntham .

 

The Kula dhanams that Swamy Desikan has left behind for us

are matchless . We can never ever pay our debt of gratitude

to Swamy Desikan except to say again and again " Na Dhaivam

DesikAth param " . Swamy Desikan had a dhaivam , which appeared

before him at the picturesque Oushada Giri at Thiruvaheendhrapuram

and blessed him with His laalAmrutham and instantly elevated

Swamy Desikan with Sarvaj~nathvam . That Dhaivam is

none other than Lord Hayagrivan , who has His sannidhi

on top of Oushada Giri . There devotess of all ages flock

every day of the year not minding the heat or cold and

pray to Lord HayagrIvan following Swamy Desikan's

prayers( in Satha DhushaNi ) :

with the deep involvement of Sri SoundararAjan Desikan is a noble

One since it serves the BhagavathAs and BhakthAs of Lord HayagrIvA

climbing the hill to have His drsanam . On a PurattAsi SravaNam day ,

the ArchA Moorthy of Swamy Desikan climbs the hill to the echo of

his Sri Sookthis . Blessed indeed is to be there at Oushada Giri

on that PurattAsi SravaNam day .That happens to be October 12 this year .

Sriman Desikan is rushing to get the rest of the 2602 Sq.Ft constructed

by that time for Swamy Desikan to climb the hills with His sishya kotis

and rest in that Mantapam prior to His mangaLAsAsanam of

Lord HayagrIvan .

 

Let us join Sriman Desikan and help him to complete the construction .

A samarpaNam of $75 would link you to 10Sq.Ft of construction .

The equivalent figure in Indian Rupees is 3200 .
