However, this dedicated regiment made the opponent face defeat and Sri rAmA inflicted humilation on the rAvaNA's regiments. This is recalled by thriumangai AzhwAr and he prescribes the thirunAmam of the Lord to one and all. He had been talking of several things in the pre-vaishNavic days. This is a sweet thirunAmam, good for one and all. A good thing can be shared by all. It is said that joy should be multiplied. Hence, he invites everyone to recite this thirunAmam. And the thirunAmam is 'namOA nArAyaNamEA" .This is the staple diet for AzhwAr-s and this is the thirunAmam found in AzhwAr gOshti.
