IV

> Dear Shri.Sadagopan Swamy

>

> adiyen has been enjoying devareer's lucid explanations

> on the Ahobilam Paasurams of Thirumangai Azhwar in

> Peria Thirumozhi 1-7 during the last several days.

> Very simple part by part explanations of devareer has

> been quite inspiring and thought provoking.

>

> The interest created by devareer has made even an

> idiot like adiyen to recall / think something about

> the greatness of Azhwar's works, especially some

> similarity in Thirumangai Azhwar's works and

> Nammazhwar's works in this context. With devareer's

> permission adiyen would like to share something.

> Please pardon adiyen if there are any errors.

>

>

> PART IV

>

> In Part I, we have noted that our elders have given

> number of places which provide evidences to prove the

> nature of Kaliyan's works (6 Vedaangaas) being

> supplemental to Nammazhwar's works (4 Vedas).

>

> In Part II, we have noted certain evidences in the

> Ahobilam Paasurams of Kaliyan (Periya Thirumozhi 1-7)

> and Nammaazhwaar's Thiruvoimozhi (Thiruvoimozhi 10-6-4

> & 10-6-10).

>

> In Part III and further we shall go through one lovely

> paasuram of Nammaazhwar on Lord Narasimhan.

>

> For kind information of members: adiyen has made the

> narration as a direct narration by Nammaazhwaar. So

> members may please read the following as direct

> narration by Nammaazhwaar.

>

> Nammazhwaar says:

>

> in Tiruvoimozhi 2-6-6

>

> Unnai Sindhai Seidhu Seidhu Un Nedu Maa Mozhi Isai

> Paadi Aadi

> En Munnai Theevinaigal Muzhuvaer Arindhanan Yaan

> III

>

> Un Nedu Maa Mozhi Isai Paadi Aadi : Oh My Lord having

> reached height of happiness in thinking about your

> perumai (greatness), I started singing and dancing in

> your praise. Having enjoyed repeated thinking of your

> perumai (greatness) now I am enjoying singing the

> same. Your greatness is a separate literary work.

>

> My Lord the Vedas, Uanishads, Puraanas, etc have been

> made for brining out your perumai. There are a number

> of literary works dedicated to you bringing out your

> perumai. Perhaps they are not sufficient to bring out

> your greatness. This is because your greatness is

> immeasurable.

>

> I only find that the length is limitless (Nedu) and

> the size is immense (Maa). With such great dimensions

> no literary work can bring out your greatness fully.

>

> I am tasting a very little portion of your greatness

> my Lord. It comes out of me as a song. That is leading

> me to dance too. I am singing and dancing my Lord

> and affection. But you were not heeding to my requests

> Bhaavam - a situation where the Lord is sought after

> by Aazhwaar taking the form of a lady as a she seeks

> the company of her beloved husband ].

>

> Oh Lord, I danced wholeheartedly to seek your company.

> Oh Lord Narasingaa, with tears pouring out of my eyes,

> I sang your praise and pleaded for your company. I was
